Angelina Jolie Comforts Johnny Depp--Brad Pitt Jealous?
Angelina Jolie reportedly reached out to her The Tourist co-star, Johnny Depp when she learned that he and his baby mama, Vanessa Paradis, were headed for splitsville. But what about Angie's baby daddy, Brad Pitt? Will he be jealous?
Yes, according to Now Magazine, Angelina Jolie can now add relationship counselor to her extraordinary list of accomplishments--which include Oscar-winning actress, UN Goodwill Ambassador, partner of Brad Pitt, and mother of six children.
The Salt star reportedly contacted Depp and tried to persuade him to "repair his relationship with...Vanessa Paradis, with whom he raises two children." La Jolie and Depp became friends on The Tourist set, and they've kept in touch ever since.
"They stayed in touch after The Tourist," reveals an inside source. "When she heard what was going on she reached out to him to see how he was coping and urged him to work it out."
It's nice of Angelina Jolie to try to help her old friend in his time of need, but what about her main man, Brad? How does he feel about Angie discussing the intimate details of Johnny Depp's life with the Dark Shadows star?
So far, there's been no comment from Brad Pitt about Angelina Jolie's supportive relationship with Johnny Depp. Not that he has a right to comment. Wasn't it just last summer that Angie was allegedly still upset over Brad's friendship with Jennifer Aniston?
Not to mention all those rumored "flirtations" on the set of World War Z with everyone from his production assistant to his co-star. Furthermore, since Brad must have been aware that Angie and Johnny have kept in touch since The Tourist, he's probably more than comfortable with their friendship.
As to whether Angelina Jolie's counseling sessions with Johnny Depp will save her old friend's relationship with Paradis, only time will tell.
